With the event that took place on 13th and 14th November, Milan confirmed the success of the previous editions of ARCHITECT@WORK, reaching yet another positive achievement. The MiCo pavilion which hosted the exhibition saw the succession of as many as 3,685 visitors wandering through the booths, the conference room, the bookshop and the lounge areas arranged to encourage networking and small meetings.
“What attracts me to the event is the programme of the two afternoon meetings, which are just perfect to stay up to date and earn professional credits. Then I end up remaining to find out the latest innovative solutions presented by manufacturers. Ever since the first edition, I have not been able to renounce to the complete offer of ARCHITECT@WORK”, these are the words of Anna, architect in Milan and loyal visitor of the exhibition since 2014.
“I have heard that ARCHITECT@WORK received favourable reviews by my competitors. This year, I have managed to bring one of our products to Milan, a product which is dear to me. I think that introducing it to the architects first and then to people who are not specialists is a key win since, in this way, it is immediately ready for use", explains an exhibitor who has taken part in the event for the first time.
These two brief reviews summarise the double soul of ARCHITECT@WORK, an event which has been designed to connect professionals and companies in a setting that, starting from the first contact, can foster the creation of new forms of collaboration to be carried out over time. Year after year, it will provide opportunities for updates and reflections on the most topical subjects in the ongoing debate about today's profession of architect and architecture.
The next events featuring ARCHITECT@WORK will take place in 2020 in Rome, taking over Turin every two years, and again in Milan for a rich seventh edition. Further updates are available on the official website www.architectatwork.it.
