Arch. Pietro Derossi
Architecture as a story - 3 CFP
The conference will study the architect's philosophy, according to which a city cannot be described or explained, but can be "told," since a city is a "fabric" (or tapestry) that evolves and "encloses," driven by the transformation of urban processes. It is a collection of stories that cannot be ascribed to a single story. The architect will recall how Ricoeur urges us to consider a new project as a new story that fits into the narrative of the city's movement.
And he will give an account of his projects in Turin and Berlin.Back to home page
